Have you ever wanted to learn the art of embroidery? Are you looking to shake-up your embroidery game? Join us to learn how to create an embroidered collage sunset! This project is mixing the art of applique and basic embroidery to create a modern mixed-media hoop project.
This class is for all skill levels! No embroidery experience is required.
In this 3 hour class you will:
- Learn the 3 core embroidery stitches - seed stitch, backstitch and stem stitch
- Understand how to create a color blocked landscape with fabric
- Unlock how to cut, apply, and attach layers of fabric in an embroidery hoop
- Discover how to create texture and visual interest to your piece
Go home with your 6-inch hand embroidered sunset ready to display, plus all the tools and know how to continue your embroidery journey. Let's get stitchin’!

Ashley learned embroidery in Girl Scouts when she was 11 years old. Over the years she has leveled-up her skills and enjoys embellishing her clothing with hand embroidered details. Ashley loves teaching others these simple stitching skills and watching people leave class with the pride of creating art one stitch at a time.
