Your kid’s most epic summer yet!
This summer, let’s turn up the fun and creativity! We’ve put together an awesome lineup of hands-on activities and creative adventures made just for middle and high schoolers.
This isn’t your average camp—it’s where big ideas, new skills, and unforgettable memories come to life!
2025 Camp Descriptions
Camps are for ages 10-13 and 12-15 and take place 9am-1pm, Monday through Friday. The cost is $400 per participant.
Your kid can expect fun, hands-on instruction, all materials, and a tee-shirt (to cyanotype, ice dye, natural dye, or indigo shibori depending on which camp week your kid comes to!).
Flora & Fauna
Dive into the wonders of the natural world with a series of engaging, hands-on activities that celebrate the beauty and diversity of flora and fauna. Campers will explore their creativity and learn new skills through art, gardening, and eco-friendly crafts. Topics include:

Campers will learn a variety of textile techniques while crafting beautiful and functional projects. Each camper will leave with an array of handcrafted treasures and new skills to continue their fiber art journey! Topics include:

This camp is a celebration of color and creativity, offering campers a chance to express themselves while learning about the science and artistry behind the hues that surround us. Perfect for aspiring artists and curious minds alike! Topics include:

This camp offers a unique opportunity to connect with East Asian culture through art and creativity. Campers will gain new skills, an appreciation for traditional crafts, and a collection of stunning projects to take home. Topics include:

2025 Camp Dates
Summer Camp Information
All camps are led by two teachers. We limit our camps to 16 campers max. Each day includes hands-on instruction and making and outdoor time as weather permits. Camps take place at The Works Seattle, 3516 Fremont Pl N, Seattle, WA 98103.
Please read the following policies prior to registering your child for camp. During the registration process, you will be asked to check a waiver box indicating that you have read, understand, and agree to the policies listed below. Thank you!

All camp registration costs include a non-refundable $50 deposit. If you need to cancel before May 1, you will be refunded in full, less the $50 non-refundable deposit. If you cancel after May 1, we will provide a credit for each canceled week, less the $50 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance of your child’s camp session will not be refunded or credited.
We offer two payment options:
Pay in full
2 Installments: Pay half now and half June 1
Prorating Camp Fees
When you sign up for camp, please select a camp which you anticipate your child attending the full week. We are unable to register children for partial weeks and do not provide a reduced rate if your child cannot attend the entire week. We recognize that due to travel sometimes children may miss a Monday or Friday. Our camp staff will do their best to make the camp experience positive for any child who misses a day.
Missed Camp Days
We cannot refund fees for missed camp days, as your camp tuition is based on enrollment not attendance. We will not offer a refund for missed camp days camp due to vacation, calendar conflicts, or personal choice. If your child is sick and unable to attend due to illness, providing there is space we may be able to transfer your child to a later week once they are no longer symptomatic or contagious. If you decline this offer, the standard cancellation policy applies.
Low Enrollment
If we must cancel due to low enrollment, a full refund including the deposit will be issued unless we can place your child in another program. We will notify all families enrolled in camps at risk of cancellation no later than May 1.

COVID-19 Safety
We will follow the current guidelines from the Washington State Department of Health. To view the current guidelines, click here.
Sick Camper Policy
If you notice symptoms of illness in your child before camp, please use the symptom flow chart provided by the Washington State Department of Health to determine next steps for your child and family. If your child is sick, please keep them home and notify us. If your camper gets sick while at camp our staff will contact a parent or legally authorized adult who will be asked to pick them up immediately.
Medications and Additional Needs
We understand that medical information is confidential and do not need a detailed health history for your child to attend camp. However, if your child has any health condition that may impact their experience at camp, may present at camp, or may be exacerbated by camp activities, we ask that you provide us with information to keep your child safe at camp. This includes:
Food and environmental allergies.
Asthma and other conditions that may need treatments at camp.
Medical conditions that require staff knowledge in order to provide a comfortable camp experience for your child. For example, a condition that requires frequent bathroom breaks or low impact activities.
Seizure conditions, heart conditions, diabetes, or other medical conditions that could result in a life threatening situation at camp.

Camper Safety
It is of the upmost importance that campers are safe at The Works Seattle. State designated camper-to-staff ratios are always maintained and no camper is to be left alone with a single staff member. When transitioning to and from outdoor time, staff conduct head counts and supervise boundaries.

Photographs and videos that represent our summer camp programs help share our mission with new participants and families. At checkout we ask you to agree to the Terms and Conditions. If you are uncomfortable with The Works Seattle using your child's image, please email us at hello@theworksseattle.com.

Codeword
Adults must be authorized and use a codeword to pick up children at the end of the day. Please record the word you provide at check-out.
No Early Drop Off
In order to ensure our teaching staff is able to fully set up and ready to give your campers the best camp experience, we do not accept early camper drop off. Once our teaching staff is ready at 8:50am, we will open the door and start welcoming campers.
Punctual Pick Up / Late Pick Up FeesWe require camp families to pick up their campers promptly at their designated pick up time.
Per our camp policies, late fees will be charged starting 10 minutes after a camper’s designated pick up time.10-19 minutes late = $10 late fee
20-29 minutes late = $20 late fee
30 or more minutes late = $30 for first 30 minutes late + $2 for each additional minute late beyond that

Please pack the following items for your camper(s) each day:
Water Bottle
Mid-Morning Snack (peanut and tree-nut free)
Have your child dress in layers (tank or t-shirt, long sleeved shirt, light jacket or sweatshirt) and please send appropriate rain gear if it looks like it may rain. The kids tend to take off their layers as the day warms up. Because of this LABEL all clothing with their name.
Sunscreen / Sun hat / Sunglasses as dependent on weather for our outside time.
