About this experience
Thread your needle and dive into the world of visible mending! We are so excited to welcome Erin Eggenburg, author of the soon-to-be released book, The Mending Directory, to teach the basics of visible mending.
In this 2-hour workshop, Erin will cover the basics of both embroidery style mending AND darning, including how to create patterned designs in your mending.
In this class you will:
- Get hands-on practice with two visible mending techniques
- Learn how to select thread, needles, and fabric for your next project
- Understand how to mend in a way that is both strong and beautiful
You'll leave with the two mended patches you made in class and the skills to replicate these techniques in your own mending projects at home.
Bonus! Erin will have her book available for purchase and signing both before and after class.
