About this experience
Visible mending is a valuable way to prolong the lives of your favorite garments, save money, reduce waste, and personalize your wardrobe!
In this 6 hour class, split across two sessions, you will
- Cover reinforcement, patching, darning, and ornamental hand-stitching as we apply artful, durable solutions to some of the most common types of clothing wear and damage.
- Apply what we’ve learned to items needing repair, troubleshooting the challenges and opportunities each garment presents.
Students will finish the class with a sampler of mending techniques to reference later, the skills to confidently assess and tackle future projects, and a repair well underway on a mending project from home.
Choose from the following dates by clicking the 'book now' button on the left:
- Saturday, January 20, 2-5pm & Sunday, January 21, 2-5pm
