We'll walk you through everything you need to know, including selecting your ingredients, how to know when the mochi is finished steaming, and how long to knead it without overworking. Then follow along as we show you first-hand how to portion, stuff, pinch, and roll your mochi.

  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup water 
  • 2 Tablespoons confectioner’s sugar 
  • 2.5 teaspoons corn syrup 
  • Pinch salt 

Optional flavorings:

  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup coconut milk 
  • 1 teaspoon matcha green tea
  • 1 Tablespoon ground freeze-dried mango or strawberries
