You'll finish this class ready to turn any fruit that catches your eye into a beautiful jam, plus the ability to come back and rewatch at a later date.

Materials

To follow along hands-on with the video, you'll need the following materials:

  • 12 cups fruit (about 4 pounds)
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1.5 to 3 cups sugar 
  • 9 Tablespoons low-no sugar needed pectin
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Large saucepan
  • Large pot
  • Canning rack insert
  • Canning tools (funnel and jar lifter)
  • Spatula
  • Ladle
  • 1-2 dish towels
  • 12 wide mouth pint sized mason jars with bands and new lids (wide mouth jars are the easiest to pack, but regular mouth jars will work too!)
