Community Event: Heart Opening Beginner Yoga and Intro to Meditation | July 21 | 6:30-7:45pm
Have you always wanted to try a yoga class? Are you curious about what meditation is like? Whether you are new to these practices or a dedicated yogi, we invite you to take part in our beginner-friendly community yoga and meditation class! This heart-opening experience will allow you to reconnect with yourself and take moment to breathe and recharge. You will be guided through a brief meditation incorporating breathwork, followed by a series of yoga poses before closing with savasana. There will be an opportunity for everyone to share their experience at the end or ask questions!
As a small step toward making The Works a space for everyone, this event is offered on a sliding scale. The suggested donation for this event is $10. Please pay what you can! Any ticket purchases above the suggested donation amount go toward funding free spots for others.
This class is BYO materials!
This is a live event held virtually via Zoom. You can expect to receive the Zoom link and any other information you need no later than the day before class. Don't be bashful! Everyone is welcome, so feel free attend with a partner or a housemate - just make sure you have space for everyone. We'll see you there!
