Erin - the-works-seattle

Erin grew up in Los Angeles and now lives with her best friends and plants in Seattle. Propelled by her studies in environmental food policy, Erin brought her knowledge into the field working in urban farming. After college, Erin shifted her focus to interiorscaping, creating indoor green arrangements and jungles. Working currently as a horticulture technician, Erin continues to grow her knowledge of plants and expand her creative design capabilities.

After her friends continuously came to her with houseplant questions, Erin wanted to create an accessible class to share her knowledge and help others care for their plants. Along with her coworker and close friend Monica, she is teaching the first ever “Houseplants 101” course at The Works.

In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with her best friends, taking as many road trips as possible, and baking cakes.
